  • In addition to courses taught in undergraduate and graduate courses, the undergrad final project, master's and doctorate’s degrees advisements, the NEEDRAM develops and takes part in several research and extension projects, among which the following stand out:
    a. 1,001 PLAYS – Series of readings of plays written by University Playwriting students from eight different institutions and coordinated by George Mason University (USA).
    b. SBEDR (Brazilian Playwriting Conference) – An event going to its sixth edition that brings together national and international playwrights, professors, and researchers of the field.
    c. MILETRÊ – NEEDRAM’s theatre company whose last production was ‘The Man of Mode’ by Sir George Etherege.
    d. WORKSHOPS – NEEDRAM tries to expand the development of playwrights through workshops at: MST (Landless Worker’s Movement) settlements, FCC/CIC (Integrated Culture Centre) and NETI (Senior Studies Centre).
