Founded in 1936, Sungshin Women's University(Sungshin) is a comprehensive, private women’s university with enrollment of about 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students and over 300 full-time professors. For 84 years, it has been training professional leaders as one of the Korea’s leading women’s universities.
Sungshin is comprised of 12 colleges and 52 majors in diverse academic fields. One of the distinguishing factors of Sungshin is that it has 2 campuses in the city of Seoul, capital of Republic of Korea.
Soojung campus is our first campus which is located at Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Woonjung Green campus, second campus that has opened in 2011, is located at Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The Woonjung Green Campus is within 5 kilometers from the Soojung Campus and a free shuttle is provided for mobility between campuses.
Woonjung Green Campus is where the College of Convergence Culture and Arts is located.
* College of Convergence Culture and Arts has four departments that are designed to raise the development of culture & arts industry and prepare graduates for future careers. By minimizing the major requirements for each department and opening up the boundaries between the different departments, the college enables all its students to earn degrees in 2 or more (multiple) majors. With solid liberal arts qualifications and broad-ranging culture and arts competencies, students grow into professionals who independently create new values in a wide range of cultural platforms.
